Extra: I was born in Tokyo, Japan. My mom is full Japanese, my dad is half Korean. When I was inside of mama Tanaka's tummy I used to kick around a lot, she thought I was a boy.( Well, I was practicing my Soul Train moves already.)My older sister used to talk to me through my mom's belly button, telling me that whole world is waiting for me to come out. My parents named me Ai(love) ko(child) to be able to love & receive love....

When I was born, I was not that pretty. I was really skinny & dark. My mom used to feel my tail bone when she was holding me. That explains why I don't have many baby picture. Why was I so small? I didn't know how to be breast fed. One day I was so frustrated I bit my mom's nipple off. Nowadays, as I grow up, I don't bite someone's nipple off, but I sure do have hot temper.

When I was age 6, I started to do girlie stuff. I loved wearing my mom's Chanel perfume, make up. I mean make up like blue eyeshadow all over my forehead & pink lipstick on my chin.

I started elementally school, I started to do some kids modeling for catalog & ads. I love the attention. I acted like a princess. My neighbor started to call me "Kaeru Hime" which means "Frog Princess"( I used to love catching a frog.) My other nick name was "mame" or "miso" meaning too young to play with. I followed my older sister everywhere she went as she protected me from all the mean boys.

By the time I graduated from Jr. high school, I started to think that I would like to be an actress. Then I thought I should go to Hollywood where all the big stars are. I always dream big. It's like if you want to be a doctor, you want to be brain surgeon or heart surgeon. Not foot doctor. You always want the best.

Even though I was eager to move to LA, My parents decided to send me to Denver. They thought it'll be safe for me to stay in the mountains. All I could have done there was smile & say thank you as I didn't speak or understand no English. Then I move to Franklin (1 hour away from Boston) to study theater. While I was in acting class, a friend of mine dared me " Aiko, you are Japanese. You guys don't know how to dance" OK, now I have to prove myself. After school I caught a train an hour everyday to go to Boston dance school. I never skip a day. I started to go out to the club, dancing. Then I got scouted by this club promoter to dance in the cage. ( with cloth on!) From that experience, I got fascinated with Dancing. One Saturday morning, I was flipping my remote, this dancing show caught my eyes. The show was called "Soul Train". I was like "I want to do that!" In a mean while, the agency in LA saw my picture & told me to move to LA. So I came to LA with no one I know, no car, no friend, no one speaks my language. All I had was my dream. Dream that I'd be able to make it as an entertainer, to buy a house for my mom.
My first gig in LA was MTV "the grind" from there, I did "Soul Train" "Soul Train" was so much fun. I used to tape the show, play, rewind, study dance moves. I remember the first time I went down on the Soul Train line. I had this tiny tube top on. I shake my booty so hard my top came off half way.

By hanging out with dancers, I became conscious with my body. I started to work out six in the morning, do sit ups. I end up getting a certificate for personal trainer from AFAA. The kind of worked out as I was posing for various calendar already.( Women in the East, most beautiful girl in the world, Imaginasian, etc.) Couple year's later I got offer to pose nude for Sung hi lee's website. As I never pose nude before,( I've done only sheer photo shoot on 1999 playboy grapevine section) I got really nervous. Ms. Lisa Boyle was their photographer, so I asked her "what style of photo shoot are we doing today?"she replied " very pornographic" After I saw the picture, I realized that she was just joking. Those first sets are still one of my favorite one.

Shortly after I did PLAYBOY Sexy girl next door TV show (Sugar &Spice)I dress up like a firefighter on this segment.

Through doing Various Calendar I did couple radio appearance (Such as Power 106, beat, The bomb), expo, etc. One day, I got asked to go to "car show" I didn't know what "Import scene" was till I went there. From there I did Magazines like "Import tuner" cover, "Superstreet", "max power" "Import racer" and some ads. I also appeared in sitcom such as "Malcom&Eddie", "My wife&Kids", the man show, Couple independent movie, music video(Offspring, destiny's child, Afroman, etc.)

I 'd like to meet & inspire as many people I can through, expo, events, carshow, on screen, and.....on the aikoaiko.net.

Love, Aiko
